Marine Plastic Upcycling Initiative

A New Wave in Sustainable Packaging: Transforming Ocean Waste into ECO Airless Bottles & Jars

Today marks a monumental milestone in our ongoing commitment to sustainability. We are incredibly proud to announce that we have officially started using recycled ocean waste plastic—specifically, material reclaimed from deserted fishing nets and gear—in the production of our ECO Airless Bottles and Jars.

This initiative represents a major leap forward in circular packaging design, allowing us to actively clean up our oceans while providing premium, high-performance packaging solutions for our clients.

The Threat of "Ghost Gear"

Every year, millions of tons of plastic enter our oceans, but one of the most destructive forms of marine pollution is "ghost gear." These are fishing nets, lines, and traps that have been abandoned, lost, or discarded at sea.

Because commercial fishing gear is designed to be incredibly durable, ghost gear can drift through the ocean for centuries, entangling marine life and damaging fragile coral reef ecosystems. By targeting this specific type of waste, we are directly addressing one of the most hazardous forms of ocean plastic pollution.

From Ocean Hazard to Premium Packaging

Innovation is at the heart of what we do. Instead of relying solely on virgin plastics or standard post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials, we saw an opportunity to upcycle marine waste into something functional, beautiful, and eco-friendly.

Through an advanced recycling and manufacturing process, these recovered fishing nets and gear are cleaned, processed, and transformed into high-quality plastic resin. We then use this specialized marine plastic to manufacture our signature ECO Airless Bottles and Jars.

What This Means

By integrating recycled ocean waste into our production lines, we are achieving several critical environmental goals:

Active Ocean Conservation: We are providing a direct economic incentive to remove deadly ghost gear from marine environments.

Reduced Carbon Footprint: Upcycling existing materials consumes significantly less energy and water compared to manufacturing virgin plastics.

Uncompromised Performance: The inherent durability of fishing nets means the resulting recycled plastic is exceptionally strong. Our ECO Airless Bottles and Jars maintain their premium feel, structural integrity, and product-protecting airless functionality.

Empowering Eco-Conscious Brands: This allows our partners and clients to offer their consumers a product that carries a powerful, transparent, and highly marketable sustainability story.

Looking Ahead

True sustainability is not a destination; it is a continuous journey. Integrating ocean-bound plastics into our ECO Airless line is just the latest step in our mission to rethink how packaging is made.

We are excited to continue pushing the boundaries of green manufacturing and invite you to join us in making the beauty and personal care industry a little cleaner, one bottle at a time.
