At SR Packaging (SRP), our commitment to environmental responsibility goes far beyond a few standalone "green" products. We are incredibly proud to announce a monumental milestone in our corporate sustainability blueprint: Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) resin is now officially available as a material option for 100% of our packaging components.
From outer caps, collars, and bottles to the highly technical interior mechanisms of our functional pumps and airless systems, we have broken through historical manufacturing barriers. Brands can now design completely circular, high-performance packaging solutions across our entire product catalog without compromising on formula safety or luxury aesthetics.
Historically, utilizing recycled plastics was limited to simple jars or heavy-walled bottles because recycled resins behave differently under intense heat and pressure. Extending PCR options to every single packaging component required an intensive, multi-year engineering initiative by our R&D team:
"Offering PCR resin for every single component—including functional dispensing mechanisms—is a true industry milestone. It means brands no longer have to choose between a luxury user experience and a responsible eco-footprint. By providing a complete PCR alternative across our entire portfolio, we are giving our partners the immediate ability to slash their virgin plastic consumption, drastically lower their carbon emissions, and meet their ambitious circular economy mandates."
— Sustainability & Material Innovation Directorate, SR Packaging
By making PCR an optional baseline for all components, we offer a completely customizable sustainability profile tailored to brand's specific requirements.
The expansion of PCR as an cross-portfolio material option is a core pillar of our low-carbon production strategy. We are proud to pave the way toward a future where plastic waste is treated as a premium, continuous resource rather than a disposal problem. At SR Packaging, we will continue to innovate our materials, optimize our factory footprints, and help the beauty industry transition into a fully sustainable, closed-loop ecosystem.
