Following its previous launch of Ultra thick-walled PCR PET jars of 60 ml and 100 ml capacity, SR Packaging has developed 3 more sizes of the same collection for more diversified skincare needs. While the previously launched 60 ml and 100 ml jars are injection molding, the new 10 ml, 20 ml, and 30 ml jars are injection stretch blow molding (ISBM). Regardless of the production process, all the jar options are available to be made of customizable post-consumer recycled resin.

The focus of this thick-walled jar collection is to provide a complete packaging solution that has a charismatic, glass-alike, crystal appearance, and at the same time, optimize the possible usage of post-consumer recycled resin for each component, helping companies to dedicate a corporate commitment for sustainability.

The use of injection stretch blow molding to produce three new lightweight versions of thick-walled jars is mainly due to the requirement of the skincare brands to have sufficient capacity for small packages and to allow consumers to feel worth the value for money, while at the same time can consolidate the product presentation on the shelves. Technically adjusting the production data of the ISBM process, and carefully balancing the needs of consumers with the aesthetic design of the product, SR Packaging has successfully realized the lightweight thick-walled jars ready for new product launches.
