PET offers vastly superior recyclability and a lower environmental footprint, making it the preferred choice for eco-conscious brands.
PET preform optionS
A PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) preform is the foundation for manufacturing PET bottles used in the cosmetics and skincare industry. Manufactured via injection molding, a preform looks like a thick-walled test tube with the final bottle's neck finish (the threads where a pump or cap screws on) perfectly formed.

High recyclability
The transformation from PET preform to a finished bottle.

The Preform
It begins with the dense, test-tube-like PET preform, molded to exact specifications.
The Neck Finish
Crucially, the pre-threaded "Neck size (T)" and "Neck height (H)" are permanently set and remain completely rigid throughout the rest of the bottle production.
Heating and Stretching
The lower body of the preform is heated until it becomes flexible. A rod then pushes down inside the tube to stretch it to the final bottle height.
Expanding the Shape
While the plastic is still soft, high-pressure air is blown inside. Much like inflating a balloon, the plastic expands outward until it presses against the walls of a custom metal mold.
The Final Skincare Bottle
The plastic cools instantly against the mold and hardens into its new shape. The result is a lightweight, custom PET bottle ready to be filled with skincare product.
